big wishes

It's been four years since Barack Obama has been President of the United States. Gradually the sun became brighter, but global warming is an issue of the past. Grass is greener everywhere and not just on the other side. I take a breath of oxygen that is not polluted with toxins. He has made change. He has made peace. 'The world is a better place' is not just a cliche anymore. It truly is. My black, Latino, and Asian brothers and sisters joined hands in Washington just a few months ago. My gay brothers and sisters are free from their shackles. Discrimination is unacceptable even under the radar. War is gone and schools are provided with adequate funding. I do not fear the ghetto. I do not fear my own policeman. I wear my flag lapel now.
